Yeah they have a rematch clause. I think it’s a tough fight for him stylistically but where else does he go? I’d take the rematch.

I'm not sure Joyce will be able to train and learn to defend against that backhand in just a few months, at least not in an effective manner. Zhang is no dummy, and he will know he almost had Joyce in a very bad way in Round 2, so he will also train to eliminate Joyce early. In the end, hell yeah, I'd watch that fight again, but it's better for Joyce to ensure a W in his next fight, meaning someone like Chisora or Whyte.

If you heard Joyce after the fight he said "i expected to come in and win this the way i always do". Sounded to me like he completely dismissed ZZ and it was at a hard cost. I think even if he gets serious for a rematch...ZZ will be up in confidence and far more aggressive and JJ will psychologically melt down.

I think Joyce was shocked that he could be hurt. His punch output in the first two rounds showed that. He **** his pants - which is understandable because he never thought he could be hurt.

A rematch won't necessarily be different, but at least Joyce now knows he can be hurt. He would come in with the plan to be active throughout, push the piece, and hope he can take Zhang into the later rounds.
