Yea, that was "advice" worth of a "Harvard scholar".

Yeah, there was only one champion in those days & the title was held, concurrently, by Ali, Frazier, Foreman & Ali. There also wasn't a C/W division. Guys like Quarry, Shavers, Norton, Bonavena, Chuvalo & Lyle would certainly all have held a 'world' title of some description if they came along a few years later. By no stretch of the imagination can you compare Quarry with a guy like Kownacki who wouldn't be a legit contender in even the weakest of eras.

I agree! Kownacki will never beat top ten heavyweight fighter's like Quarry who beat Shavers, Lyle, Middleton, Foster, Mathis, Spencer, Patterson, and London.
You hit the nail on the head when you compared Adam Kownacki to Ron Stander, who beat Shavers, and Spencer.
Kownacki was able to score win's against 11 fighter's with winning records, and 1 former champion, but that's as good as it get's for him.

I quite like Kownacki/Cusumano at this stage, true crossroads fight for Kownacki and I could see it going either way. Looking forward to it

Kownacki never really had a chance. He gets hit way too much, has zero defense and would have a problem with any tall HW. He should have got in shape and went to CW...I bet he could have cleaned up at CW

TakeNotes, just because a HW is short & fat you can't assume he would do well at CW. Anyway Kownacki is 260lb. Are you seriously suggesting he drops 60lb in weight? That is just not realistic.
