If he is not going to fight legit top levels fighters his size at ww, then he shouldn't even bother because boxing is a sport before a business. No one pays to see Floyd cash a check at the bank they pay to see him fight and want to see him fight opponents who have some chance of winning....that is SSM not JMM.

1 million buys against marquez proves people don't care and will watch anything with the name mayweather on it. especially if you sell it as some kind of huge comeback fight.

Floyd already said he won't fight him and then he went on again to say Mosley had his chances. But if I were Floyd I wouldn't fight him. Since I'm Floyd I'll likely chicken out. Now if I were in Floyd shoes which is different I'd showed the world why I am really that damn good and accept the fight.

8Mill was offered for a Mosley comeback fight. 15Mill was offered for a Marquez comeback fight. Which would you pick?
              8Mill or 15Mill?

              Let's not lie now.

He's gonna be that damn good by beating a 40 year old with 5 losses.

I know Boxingscene like the back of my hand. It would be excuses galore once he beats Mosley.

sure they'll be excuses, but even though Mosley is old I dont think he can lose to floyd. So their wont be any excuses, but if he does beat him he wont look like a coward and he can move on to the next challenge. floyd will only get respect if he beats some several or couple of real W.W. fighters.

But I think in his retirement he avoided fighting a younger Cotto, Mosley, Berto, Quintana, P.Williams, Margarito, Clottey, Collazo, etc. So many excuses were being made when he retired when everyone knew he was ducking the big fights. I thought Berto represented a real threat to him some guys age faster as a fighter and battles help that.

while floyd retired all these guys when at it and destroyed each other for fighting the best. Even the ones that didn't lose lost something in those fights. Remember he left millions behind and didn't give Oscar the rematch. He feared something that night and it was the power of a true Welter weight.

why would floyd fight JMM over Mosley. His explanation was because JMM called hiim out.

Shane called floyd out to his face in front of everyone and he's still not getting a fight. JMM was a lightweight, and shane is the #1 rated WW in Floyds division. It doesnt make sense.

The truth is, Floyd wanted an easier fight and by every definition of the word in boxing, cherrypicked JMM. Then, without a doubt, ducked Mosley TWICE.
