He is someone who no boxer in the WW division wanted to face - soo much that he has to now fight at higher weights just to earn a living.

Mosley wants no part of him ... Cotto won't answer the phone ... Berto look the other way ... Floyd & Al Haymon won't let it happen - Very few want a piece of Williams.

The fight with Quintana is his only scar ... and he cleaned that up nicely.
He has no recent fights at 147 or lower and he don't get in just because he decides he's avoided and starts saying it after he got his ears boxed off. If he want in at 147 he need to campaign there and win some meaningful fights at that weight. I mean now as well not a few years ago, Now...if he wants in he gotta fight there now and stop crying.

Miranda got shut out by Ward and Taylor got KOd by Froch. He has been living off those two victories for too long. At least Margarito went on an impressive run in between his losses to Williams and Mosley even if you think he was loaded.

Or esle I'm not sure what Paul Willliams can prove by beating him.

Pavlik should have skipped BHop and fought Winky and Verno Phillips. He would be a living legend right now. hehe

He would've beaten Phillips. Wright I'm not so sure about. I like Pavlik better than Wright from a style standpoint though.

At the time of the fight Miranda was favored to beat him. He took the most difficult fight possible and beat the living **** out of him. Probably ruined him. Better win than Ward managed to get.

Taylor was Middleweight champ before then and had recently come off 2 wins against Hopkins. He fights Pavlik and overcomes adversity (2nd round) to once again beat the **** out of Taylor. I'd say this is a more impressive win than the win Froch has over Taylor.

He moved up in weight to fight Taylor again and then he moved up further in weight to fight lb/lb top 5 Hopkins. And now everyone and their mother is screaming about how much of a bum he is. I'd like to see how Froch and Ward would do against Hopkins.

And how did Marquez do when he went up in weight to fight the top lb/lb fighter? Same result. But for some reason Marquez is a warrior and Pavlik is a hype job.

I will thoroughly enjoy when Pavlik drubs Williams.

                    That's the problem Jone2ts -

He can't campaign there {WW} because no one will fight him.

Because i belive he would beat the crap of mayweater at 156 but at 147 will have a little advantage with that reach.
