He needs a good win over a gate keeper to truly establish himself. Thurman and Garcia don't want the role. The worst thing to happen for him was Porter's retirement because he fought everyone. A logical fight would be with Ugas.

Everytime I see a headline about Ennis it's about him complaining or saying some bs.
It's never about him fighting a top contender or champion.

Any article about him deciding to be active, announce his next fight or something? What good are these articles when he's not fighting? He just barks.

A guy like Boots can’t win with the haters. You guys have to realize, the top names want nothing to do with him. Spence Jr moved up a weight division to avoid the mandatory, Thurman pretended he never heard of him, Crawford is a whole other matter….

So he should be more active. Okay against who? The big names don’t want him, if he fights multiple times per year it will be against guys who need the money and are willing to take a loss.

Honest question: which opponents would a) be willing to fight Boots and b) would be an actual competitive opponent? Not a rhetorical question, I’m actually challenging you guys to name someone.

Why don't you just make your own research and find out who Ennis' camp approached for their fights? He's got 31 fights and his best win is a bloated Lipinets, who went back to his weight class after the fight. Send them an e-mail or something and ask them who they offered fights to. They can't lie because it's not hard to confirm whether they're lying or not.

Strange part with you apologists is you don't even consider it's them Ennis team who avoided tough fights and feasted on scrubs. 31 fights with no notable name in it other than Dulorme, a guy who's been a left over of many fighters.

Which fighter in the division wouldn't want a shot at Thurman and Spence? Why is Ennis getting credit for wanting those fights that are deemed lucrative by most welters?

Well you don't get to be a main by waiting around. There's always fighters willing to fight, so you got to keep lining them up and build your profile.
