Why Benavidez, Charlo and the rest of the crew DON'T try/demand to fight each other to establish themselves as boxing stars and then maybe fight a top guy from 175 before begging a fight with Canelo? Canelo did his hard work to be where he is today from 154 to 175! But the rest of these beggars / protecting 0s fighters are just doing nothing, waiting for Canelo's PAYDAY.

Oh but wait, Benavidez just went 12 rounds with a fighter that was stopped by Canelo and then people act like Bena cleaned up all the smw division and Canelo is somehow obliged to fight him ?lol

Why Benavidez didn't try to fight a top guy at 175 like Canelo did ? Why not Benavidez vs Beterbiev ? Bena is a big framed 168 pounder. Canelo can fight at 168 and 175 and he is 32 y/o.
So why a 26 y/o Bena can't do it ? Same with Charlo , who is a big dude, draining himself at 160, fighting stiffs from time to time , protecting his 0 and acting like he is some Hagler or SRL? Andrade is another one stay safe fighter.

I was chatting with a bunch of my casual/semi-serious friends when were talking about setting up a fight party for Ryan vs Tank while we watched the ufc fight earlier.

When I asked who they want to see Canelo fight next they all said Bivol, and none of them even knew who Benavidez was. Some of them recognize the name but don’t know anything about him.

I’m starting to understand why Benavidez vs Plant flopped lol.

Would they have known plant before he fought Canelo? Would they have known bivol before he fought Canelo?

Alvarez vs Bivol at 175 pounds is a great fight 'A bigger event than the first fight'

But Benavidez vs Alvarez is what you call a insiders fight 'There is a lot of passion and rivalry in the match up'.

Benavidez vs Alvarez for me is the bigger event, and the match up is at boiling point.

If Alvarez can fight Benavidez and win, that is also good preparation for Bivol 'Both match ups are big fights, it is just a matter of which fight Alvarez goes for first'.
