Fury is a good boxer but bad for boxing and its already tarnished image. He just talks but then nothing comes. He never wanted the rematch against Klitschko, he never wanted the fight against Usyk. Apart from Wilder and an already old Klitschko Fury hasn't boxed a world-class opponent.

And that's just sad. If he put his mind into it he could have had the best resume since Lennox Lewis and ended up a top 10 ATG HW.

totally agree. Someone beat someone years ago and many conclusions can be drawn. That said, many conclusions cannot be drawn. Boxing maturity includes physical, physiological, mental, spiritual, and emotional. Usyk has come quite far, but Joyce now is orders of magnitude stronger than he was back then. I for one am so friggin excited to see what he can accomplish, especially since he does not seem (at this level anyways) to want to duck or play games.

This. I love Usyk, but his team looked suspect when they came out and blitzed Fury and Warren, pulling out of negotiations while loudly proclaiming it was all Fury's fault. Warren read messages live from his phone where Usyk's side pulled out and Usyk's promoter said it wasn't Fury's fault, it was more timing.

Usyk pulled out to get the Saudi money vs Fury in November. Not even saying I blame him, but it could have been handled better. Fury runs his mouth and is funny but he doesn't seem to bull**** much. He just says, I'm the top dog, take it or leave it. He is right.

I guess lucky for Fury that Wilder has been stalling on the final eliminator. WBC ordered him and Ruiz jr to fight like a year ago, winner gets Fury.

I'd rather see Usyk vs Wilder than against any of the mandatory contenders, even more than against Joyce.

This could be the perfect set-up fight.

Wilder has only fought 2 real technical fighters in his entire career and is 1 and 1 against them . I’ve actually never seen him in complete control of any title fight he was in if it wasn’t a very short fight ?

This isn’t news but if a huge upset happened where Wilder did what you say it would redeem his entire career but that’s the kind of thing he’d have to do at this stage .
