Nobody said Loma is old anyway,
What we can hear is "past his prime" or maybe "too small for 135" 2 different things.

There IS nothing awesome or very impressive in doing what Teo did versus a fresher version or Loma, sorry Dave.

Does anyone believe that Loma's age may be understated....the way Luis Ortiz's age might be?

Did Crawford struggle with a C Level fighter like Jamaine Ortiz? Did Crawford LOOK old against Avanesyan?

People are saying Loma LOOKED old. The same way Roy Jones LOOKED old at 35. Bernard Hopkins on the other hand didn’t look old until he was in his 40’s. It’s a case by case basis when it comes to fighters ageing/declining. It’s based on style, mileage and multiple other factors.
Real talk, Dude fighting a past it fighter but want us to rank that win like when Frazier beat Ali lol

Haney's point is that he has never seen Crawford and Loma in the same room at the same time because Loma is Crawford and beating Loma deserves the WBO welterweight belt .

Haney also suspects David Benivdez is Golovkin and beating Golovkin is beating Benavidez but contradicted himself when he said Ryder could be Benavidez with a fake beard?

He’s so desperate for credit/adulation. It’s embarrassing man.

Beating Loma in 2023 is still a good win and it’ll be Haney’s best win but suggesting beating Loma makes you the “best fighter in the world” or “P4P #1” is just completely delusional and that’s exactly what Haney is; deluded.

This is the best way to look at it you nailed it. The difference is if I buy a 2020 model car with 75000 miles on it or the same make and model with 250000 miles on it. The fresher one is probably more reliable providing both have been well kept. Lomo and Bud both live the life but one has 100 plus fights ( pro and amateur) the other has 4 times as many ( pro and amateur) it's simple math.

I have a sneaking su****ion that Loma is going to beat Haney and possibly even stop him, and apparently it will shock alot of people. Haney hits and holds. Loma is far better skill wise and his last fight was deceptive....he fought a strong guy he had sparred with many times, and Loma had ring rust.

Loma ain't lost much if anything. Haney might be able to tie Loma up constantly and make it terrible and stink out a win, but Loma is by far Haney's best opponent.

All Haney has done is try to fight Loma as eay as possible. Loma did everything to move away from that fight.

This is going to be one of those cases where fans that dont like haney lower this win because Loma was old, but hold nothing against Loma for dropping the belt and avoiding him when he did.

                  Whose the real punk here?

I feel for Haney, he’s in a position where beating Lima-freakin-chenko would not give him much credit. The point is, it is feasible Loma had an off night which would be understandable considering what was happening in his life. The point is is that The best Haney stands a chance against peak Loma by most experts’ estimation. The point is we won’t know unless Loma fights impressively afterwards and if he loses he may not.

I'd still put money on Loma being able to do 126lbs and Haney is really a 140lbs fighter , so the size is an advantage to the bigger fighter and whatever bollocks he talks about other fighters makes no difference he's still set to face a guy who is 36 next . I liked Haney until he opened his mouth!
