      Remember the Rooster. My buddy loved watching him fight. I don't remember much power or much defense from the Rooster. Soto-Karass was pretty shopworn at that stage and was brought in as a name for Neeco to beat.

        I wouldn’t say that. Neeco was off a impressive win and they thru him in with a vet instead of a undefeated prospect again.
        Idc how old Soto is he’s still live just like gabe rosado

          I was thinking about this guy the other day! He endears himself to fans quite easily. Just a really neat guy! Hope he has some success.

            Soto-Karass had lost 5 of his last 6 and three by stoppage. The other being a draw to Kamegai.

            That being said, I guess I shouldn't be too hard on Neeco. The fight against Cabrera was a big step up and he got that win. Even tho Soto-Karass was shopworn, he was still a massive step up in level for Neeco from anything he had fought before (to include Cabrera).
