So let me put this in a way that you can appreciate. Cinnabon normally fights twice a year, and he basically chooses who he fights because the sanctioning bodies won't mandate a fighter unless he approves of it. But, most just turn a blind eye while he takes on whomever he likes even in different weight classes while his mandatory fighters are screaming for the fight.
Suppose between those two fights a year that he broke his hand in 2 places, then he would be out of the ring for a year seeing that he only fights every 6 months. Would you say that he should be stripped because he was injured training for his mandatory fight?

It looks like you're the one doing all the googling. Those videos are useless, I could post hundreds of videos of Charlo telling Cinnabon to stop ducking, Benavidez telling Cinnabon to stop ducking, and Andrade telling Cinnabon to stop ducking, and most people would still say that he's not ducking. The truth is Charlo, both of them, were champions at 154 and beat Trout. Trout beat Lara, why would they be afraid of him?

Thanks for the understanding explanation. Yes of course he should he stripped if a mandatory fight has been called and he can't fulfill that obligation.

Unfortunately back in the real world Canelo is fighting his WBO mandatory 9months after his last fight. He also has been fighting 3 times a year and yes he also took fights at a higher weight. Why the hate?

Charlo will be 14 months since his last fight if he even fights in June. It's too long. Time for the other mandatories to be called and if he can't fight then we'll get new champions.

Why's he even hanging around at JMW anymore anyway? He's done it, move up to MW and go for a belt there.

No hate, just truth. Cinnabon always fights 2 times a year since he became the cash cow. He only fought 3 times in a year when he rushed to become undisputed at Super Middleweight before Benavidez could get one of those other champions in the ring, which would mean that he would be forced to face David for the other belt. That was a part of the bad blood between David and Caleb, because Benavidez knew Plant wouldn't fight him with a possible Canelo fight looming.

Cinnabon only stayed out for 9 months because he had a routine surgery to remove callouses from his wrist, that's extremely less extensive than 2 broken bones in his hand. Jermell is staying at 154 because he makes the weight comfortably, and his brother hasn't moved up to 168 yet. It says a lot that as undisputed champion, he's willing to risk his status by taking on all the top fighters in the division.

To avoid Benavidez? Didn't Benavidez purposely avoid a Canelo fight by losing his belt without even fighting. He's only been brave since Canelo did the dirty work and cleared out all the other champions that he was too scared to fight himself.

Are you saying that Charlo is not fighting at MW because of his brother? Oh dear how disappointing. And pathetic. But there are three other belts and he doesn't even have to fight GGG anymore. Win one and call out Ryder for an undisputed v undisputed super fight.
