  • Comments Thread For: Jermell Charlo Open to Fighting Errol Spence: If the Money Right, We'll Get It On

Jermell Charlo apparently has come around to sharing the same viewpoint as Errol Spence Jr. In a recent interview, Charlo, the undisputed junior middleweight champion from Houston, Texas, expressed interest in the idea of fighting his friend and training mate Spence, the unified welterweight champion from Desoto, Texas.

Up until his injury he was one of the most active fighters out there. He’s also the undisputed champion. I swear, for some nothing pleases you.

One fight a year fighter growling. Not interested in what these Charlos had to say until they become active and start biting. Irrelevant fighters trying to be relevant.

This Jermell guy has become another joke. He was fuming mad when Harrison and Castano postponed their rematches with him because of injuries in training camps. Charlo wasn't buying both and he was mad as hell. We never heard that from Tszyu. Instead, he gladly took an interim fight and plan to take another one. Harrison's was delayed for six months. Charlo waited and didn't take any fight. Castano's was only delayed for 2 months. And here is Charlo taking all the time in the world without any proof he needs that much time. 7-8 months. Yeah, for a guy who can't stand waiting for his rematches with Harrison and Castano, he's taking it at a new low level.

Your hatred for the Charlo brothers consumes you so much that you get on threads and make up lies. Tony Harrison's injury caused their rematch to be delayed for a full year between their last fight, and Jermell did take a fight in between with Jorge Cota. But you just stated your falsehoods with such disdain, it's pitiful.

Can't speak for OP nor am I familiar with his post history regarding Mell but he told no lies here bruh. It is a FACT Mell threw a hissy fit, blatantly calling Castano a liar and accusing him of faking his injury. Honestly don't recall if he did the same with Harrison.

                    2. Harrison was injured a week or two from their scheduled June fight where Cota was brought in to save the card. Mell and Harrison rematch took place 6 months later, so no lies told there either.

Mell has never been one to shy away from anyone and injuries heal at different rates for different individuals so it's plausible he had a setback in recovery but OP is correct and pointed out Jermells hypocrisy. Mell isn't going to go straight into a fight with Tim, that's a 100% give in,so we're looking at December or early next year at the earliest before Tim gets his shot. That's if everyone stays injured free and no roadblocks.
