Comments Thread For: Hearn: Right Now Joshua is Not at The Optimum Level He Could Be To Face Fury, Wilder

Eddie Hearn, promoter for former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is looking at the potential options for his boxer's next fight. Last Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London, Joshua snapped a two-fight losing streak by winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Jermaine Franklin.

Surely Josh learnt from usy k losses. Fury don't want to face Josh at Josh best.
Id say fight fury or wilder now. Wilder only fought helenius also

Eddie needs 2-3 more easy fights to build up his cash-in fight. He knows Joshua's gonna lose again as soon as he steps against talent again. Any dangerous man.

Was a big fan of Joshua for years and I mean years.....there is no way he should even think of tune-up fights! Hearn and Joshua's confidence is shot to sht!

Not sure what’s so hard to understand, he was never all that great to begin with. Hearn and a bozo fan base hyped him up to be something he wasn’t.

We'll probably never see Joshua vs Wilder. The big money cash out fight is obviously against Fury. Just watching Wilder KO highlight reels will probably give Hearn and Joshua sleepless nights

Eddie simply doesn't believe his Robot can beat Fury or Wilder. Even in his prime, Fury would own him and there's go guarantee Wilder doesn't starch him inside of 5. Eddie will blow his usual smoke out of his arse, though.

Yes, here we go again with the former Olympic and two-time world professional heavyweight champion needing "warm up" fights mantra. The real agenda is "cash in before cash out"!

And, btw, there's no way Joyce is seriously being considered. That would be too much of a step.uo and a serious risk to the cash out fight not happening!

Joshua should go straight in with Wilder or Fury preferably Wilder because i can imagine a world where Whyte sparks AJ just due to his hesitancy.

If there is one thing Whyte doesn't lack it's a willingness to go for it even with his rudimentary skills and unless that reignites AJ's willingness to commit to punches/have tear up, he's doomed to losing to the likes of Whyte and missing out on the BIG payday and the one fight that will cement his place in this era...

Surely collecting vacant titles and regaining your belts from a 25-1 underdog doesn't cement your place as anything other than a flash in the pan, so he needs the big fight.
