Hell no, this is a cupcake fight for Usyk. I don’t fault him for taking it though as Fury messed up their mega fight, stay busy, champ.

Not a bad title defence on paper. Undoubtedly, Joyce and Fury are tougher assignments, but Dubois is more dangerous and live than both Chisora and Whyte when Fury fought them. I have no issues with this fight and would look forwards to it.

With light touches (Dubois, Hrgovic), let's hope Usyk fights Dubois in June, and Hrgovic in September, and then a proper big fight with Sack of Crap, I mean Duckson Fairy, in December. As a courtesy, Usyk should mail a reliable pen with a lanyard to Duckson as early as possible.

Because WBA is next in the rotation for mandatory defenses. The only potential thing that might change this is if Dubois gets injured or has to pull out and WBA allows their new #1 to fill the spot (Deontay Wilder). Hrgovic with IBF is next, and Joyce with WBO after.

Usyk vs Dubious, Hrgovic, and Joyce are all good matchups.

              How?

Dubois is as basic as they come. And he's proven to be chiny.

Usyk v Dubois will be as close as Calzaghe v Lacy. Except Lacy could box, so it won't be quite so unexpected to watch Usyk smack the senses out of Dubois for 12 rounds without getting remotely touched.

I expect Usyk to win wide like 118-110 or maybe up and stopping Dubois standing up in maybe the 10th round.

I understand why Dubois and his team are accepting this offer, but I think for his future and long term career it would be better for him to use the year of 2023 to recovery from his ACL injury and look to resume his journey for greatness in 2024.
