Before that fight, he threw between 40 and 100 punches in every round. In this fight, he only broke 40 in round 11, and he landed more punches in that one round than in the first 6. Loma is known to begin his offense with the jab. In this fight, he barely threw any jabs for seven rounds (only 50 thrown across all 7 rounds; previously he averaged about 32 per round, nearly 50% more than the lightweight average). He had surgery the next day on his lead shoulder. You can literally see when he decides to start throwing punches in round 8. He throws 50% more jabs in 8 than in 7, which was his previous high round, and doubles the power punches as a result. He also was more accurate than Lopez across the whole fight, landing nearly 44% of his punches, while Lopez landed only 27.8%. Credit to Lopez for finally fighting back in Rd 12, but it's a farce to say that Loma wasn't throwing punches because of something Lopez was doing.

Lopez hasn't evolved his game since even before that fight. He got a gift decision against Martin. Heck, he even struggled against Nakatani, who Loma absolutely dominated. Wouldn't be surprised to see him lose to Taylor and fade from relevance. He's basically the Andy Ruiz of the 135/140 divisions, but with Tyson Fury levels of BS coming from his mouth and his father's.
before that fight he was also fighting like Campbell. Ever heard of level of competition. Loma was hesitant to throw because of what was coming back at him. Fighter ms will let their hands go more when there’s not much to worry about coming back in return. Wanna explain how his arm suddenly started working later on in the fight? Nobody just gives away 7 rounds because they “chose to” and nobody wins a fight and has nothing to do with it. That’s just bozo talk.

Stop. lol This **** is so ridiculous. You have no idea, do you? Loma dislocated his arm in the Linares fight and had to have it popped back in in the second round. You think that doesn't hurt? You fight through the pain. Loma was throwing against Linares despite the dislocation. And don't tell me that it didn't happen because it's very well documented. Loma was being treated for his shoulder in the back of the casino when Schwarzenegger was visiting him, and it was filmed.

You fight through the pain. Maybe you can't fight through anything, but other people can, so don't put what you would do or incapable of doing on others. His arm popped in the second round with Lopez, and he had no idea how bad it was, whether it was going to get worse or how to deal with it. So he decided to fight conservatively and then when he had no choice, he started letting it go. But he didn't throw any hooks or looping shots with his right. They were all straight punches. Every one nearly.

So stop with the bull****. The guy had surgery the next day. Why is it so hard for you to accept this?

He's not wrong. He officially lost but being punched in the balls eighteen times in a row in one fight and fighting with a torn labrum in the other is more than enough justification for me. He's an ATG.

He's fighting Haney because that's his highest weight class. AM and Pro, he has had an exceptional career.

Loma threw nothing for 6 rounds.

What the hell do you call that?

Even Broner has a higher output.

I’m really starting to believe that Loma fughed many of your wives/girlfriends for the hate he gets from so-called boxing fans

save your lame excuses and groupie fandom sh** for someone else. Blaming an injury from 2 1/2 yrs before the Lopez fight as the reason for his loss is as corny as blaming a loss on a heavy robe. It wasn’t bad enough for him to not be able to beat pedraza , Crolla and Campbell but suddenly it was completely unusable vs Lopez? ***outtaherewithdatbullshet. You lomasexualas are a weirdo fan base. What’s your excuse for him going life and death with ortiz in his last fight?

Bro needs another reality check, guess Salido's 12 round ass whipping and Teofimo's 12 round outclassing wasn't enough.
