Yer he was good but as good as Vitali?

I don't think so. I mean the guy has never been down or even looked like he was going to go down. Yet Bowe was staggered numerous times against a 205lb Holyfield?

Just because two American fighters produced one of the greatest Heavyweight trilogies of all time (and the first fight was one of the best heavyweight fights of all time IMO).... Doesn't mean your nostalgia should cloud your reasoning.

Vitali is too big, too strong, shows too many angles and has too much of a great chin to lose to Bowe.

Vitali couldn't carry on because of his arm? He should've learned a thing or 2 from Danny Williams.

      Ah, Tunney Tunney Tunney...

The Bowe who effectively lost twice to Golota was but a shell of himself, and totally shot by that point. The 1993 Bowe, however, who handed Holyfield his first career loss would've made the slow and lumbering Vitali look Rid****ulous.

PittyPat you are one of the worst posters on this site. Everything you say is full of hate. From reading some of your other posts I can only assume you were dropped on your head as a baby.

How does having two good champions who will never fight each other and rest of the devision unable to put up an even slightly competitive fight equate to the devision being 'absolutely wonderful'?

rid**** bowe was a big and strong heavyweight to. and you dont win fights just because you have a good chin. vitali is a very good fighter no doubt but i think it showed what level he stands on by looking at his fight with an out of prime and out of shape lennox lewis. yes he was giving lennox a run for his money but like i said that fight shows where vitali stands as a fighter. hes very good but definatly not on lewis's level or any other great heavyweight of any era. i mean when lewis was unfocused he looked horrible. look at his first fight with rahman, and that wasnt some lucky punch by rahman, rahman was making lewis look mediocre. and vitali fought an even worse, older out of shape lewis when he was in his prime and went life and death with him and in my opinion looked more tired and exhausted of the two after the 6th round. which leads me to the conclusion vitali is good but not great. and i have alot of respect for vitali but lets face facts here.

True, because Rush/Genesis/Yes/Marillion are not living in the past like you and Jethro Tull.

The 90s are over, PittyPat. Welcome to the 21st century!

Vitali fought the better, more experienced version of Donald. Bowe's decision over Donald would be like Vitali winning a decision over Deontay Wilder now...

Hide, who's the same age as Vitali at 38, is still active and is on a winning streak.

You're just a troll the same as PittyPat.

Good job sticking up for a fellow troll/someone who is only here to insult other member's and their favourite boxers.
