I agree and sadly, not even a prenup can save you now as these slimy divorce lawyers know all the loopholes and tricks. Plus the judge will automatically side with these skeezers 99% of the time and you have no case due to no fault divorce. Safest bet these days is to just avoid the trap, don’t marry. Hell, don’t even cohabit with women as they can get you for that now. Saw a sad story about a guy they were trying to get for child support just because he would watch his friends kid so she could go out, like wtf!!?

Leave that marriage sh-t alone. You just allow the government to have a say in your love life. You can have a wedding but don't go get a certificate from the government.

Even if you don't get married if there are assets accumulated while living together the government will get involved when the relationship ends. The government is aggressive pursuing dead beats for child and spousal support.

Pre nups most of the times get thrown out of the window in court, and they're supposed to "protect" assets/wealth that you bring into the marriage, Andy's wealth comes during the marriage so it wouldn't be protected anyway.

Me personally, I'd never sign a contract that has a 50% to fail and lose half of my stuff, idk how these people keep falling for this trap.

Plus you can just stay as GF and BF, specially in american culture, and if they're religious just marry through god no need yo bring in the court into play.
