i would like to give MY take on the WHOLE thing about this fight even have been made.

i think that JMM calling out floyd was a set up, i think it was staged, i think that the fight was already negotiated by floyd and jmm before jmm called floyd out. reason being is this, and see if this make any sense.

jmm is a lightweight at the time he called out floyd, his first fight at that weight. he moved up from 126 and 130, to fight at 135 and win, all to call out floyd mayweather.

i find his calling out floyd pretty peculiar, especially how he did it, jmm called out floyd like floyd wasnt retired, like floyd was an active fighter at the time, he offered no other name other than floyd........ ok, seems harmless enough, but at that time, other fighters have given up on calling out floyd because he was in retirement and they have called him out for a year and some change, and nothing from floyd, so they have stopped calling him out directly. some fighters would say they would like to fight this guy and that guy, but if floyd was around they would want to fight him, and again, nothing.

but when marquez calls out mayweather, and mayweather excepts the challenge, it didn't fit. AND, it pretty much was set up like ABC, nothing out of the normal for high profile fight contracts.

but this is why i think that it was set up and already negotiated before the jmm call out, because of all the guys that have called mayweather out and said provocative things about him, he does nothing, he says nothing, and dismisses it like nothing, staying retired, but now all the sudden form a smaller man, a man who is really no threat to mayweather, call him out, but not only calls him out, but calls him out as if he was still active at the time, issuing a live challenge to floyd and only floyd. of all the guys calling out floyd, jmm is the guy that gets him motivated to come back to boxing? jmm gets to go to disneyland, so to speak, with mayweather and get the big payday.

it doesn't add up, unless it was set up, it was staged, because i've heard a lot of fighters who are more of a threat to mayweather than jmm who called him out and nothing came of it..........


watching the body language and how things unfolded for this fight, i've said from jump street that floyds coming back to fight jmm was a set up for a big payday, which he needed because of his IRS worries, which wouldn't wipe him out, but if you have one fight, basically an easy fight for floyd, and that fight erases your debt, bet your sweet ass he's going to come back to boxing and get that taken care of.

just watch from the jmm vs diaz fight on how it all unfolded and you tell me that it wasn't already agreed upon prior to jmm calling out floyd. i'm sure the terms were, " if you beat diaz, you got the green light to call out and fight floyd". there is no such thing as coincidence in these type of matters......

Yea & he calls him out with such confidence at a time when floyds name had stopped being even mentioned by both boxers & commentators, but that's Floyd for u, easy paydays. My take on it is, with all the talent Floyd posseses I meen common fight good opponents make things intresting give the fans there moneys worth I meen the truth is boxers work for us we pay their bills. Any way hopefully next fight is a WW that's y I hope PAC losses cuz his style of fight & his size is no match for Floyd

I think Mayeather will try to get a fight with Cory Spinks before he fights Shane Mosley, because Spinks' advantages as a boxer are gone as we saw in his last fight. The good thing is though, HBO will reject that fight in a heart beat. Mosley can go on and fight Berto and beat him and then the Floyd fans will discredit the win. I halfway don't blame them though because Berto aint ****.
