He was answering questions during an interview. The article doesn't have any of the questions, just the answers.

Usyk has been a fovorite of mine for years. He will never be a huge draw at HW. Because no one wants to see a HW who can't knock the other guy out and relies on boxing.

Usyk moving to HW was always a questionable move. He beat Joshua, but Ruiz ruined AJ.

Usyk can outbox Dubois, Hrgovic, and yes Fury, the whole lot of them, and he may go down as a great HW. But he will never be a must see fighter at HW, because he is too small. People pay to see HW's knock each other out and hurt each other. Ali had great skill, but also had KO power which made him incredibly exciting.

Name a HW with no chance of KOing his opponent who is exciting. They don't exist.

Fury didn't want a rematch regardless of the outcome so he could move on with his career and get a AJ mega fight. All Usyk had to do was beat Fury once and he could move onto his retirement fights.
Usyk was the one begging for a rematch, not Fury.

It looks like Usyk is trying to cash out lol

Nobody is gonna pay to watch Usyk pop shot guys he cannot KO. People want KOs. That is why Fury/Wilder was so good. There is a reason SA passed on this fight. Usyk does not draw. Fury does. It's as simple as that.
He wanted Fury to give $$ to South Sudan?

This site is embarrassing. It truly is.

Fury completely ducked this Fight. COMPLETELY!!!

It was his FAULT. Period. You guys are so fake and hypocritical on this site it’s EMBARRASSING! I remember when AJ had 3 belts to Wilders one you guys were on here saying he should take just 15 million flat to get the opportunity to be Undisputed.

Yall said he should NOT even get a rematch if he LOST as an UNDEFEATED CHAMPION. Then it was he had all the titles so he makes the rules.

Now there is a champion who has 3 of the 4 belts…,

(THE EXACT ONES AJ HAD ) and Fury has one belt (THE EXACT BELT WILDER HAD) and now it’s the guy with ONE BELT SHOULD NOT ONLY CALL THE SHOTS BUT IF HE LOSES SHOULD STILL CALL THE SHOTS IN THE t REMATCH WITH A LOSS AND NO TITLES!!!!

You guys are saying the REAL MONEY is between the guy who got beat TWICE by the champion who has NO TITLES and is saying he will RETIRE IF HE LOSES AGAIN HIS NEXT FIGHT!!!

Yall hated Floyd for calling A SIDE yet are all for it now that your FAVORITES ARE DOING IT!!!!

              YOU GUYS ARE EMBARRASSING

YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS SHYT UP!!!

And Fury only defended the world title three times. But two of those defenses were against fighters he already beat, Wilder and Chisora.

So he really only has one title defense against someone he never fought before in a pro ring, Dillian Whyte. But Whyte was knocked out by an aging Povetkin just a couple of fights earlier. With the Povetkin loss, Whyte's threat level decreased so it was a safer fight for Fury to take.

Usyk also debateably beat Bredis who just got schooled by one armed jai opetia(who?). Fury is the premier HW of this era until someone can beat him. You can hype usyk all u want but 2 narrow points wins over AJ is his claim to fame. Put him in vs ruiz wilder ortiz Joyce fury dubois he will lose AT LEAST 2 probably 3 or more of those match ups. Beterbiev drops him with a body shot. Go watch usyk Vs glowacki too. Glowacki drops him with shots to the body too but it’s not counted. Had AJ crowded usyk and roughed him up made it a phone booth fight he could’ve done a number on usyk but his fight IQ isn’t high enough and it never will be. Usyk is the most overated fighter but tbh there’s a few of those in boxing rn usyk and bud crawford are at the top of the list.

Before all this ****, I always got the impression that Fury doesn't want an AJ fight although last time that fight was being negotiated, neither team wanted it. This time, Fury was using similar antics that got him out of the AJ fight but the difference was, Usyk's team were genuinely trying to make the fight which is why Fury has come off so badly after these "negotiations."

I think Fury is beginning to slow down with age, his confidence doesn't seem to be what it was and I doubt we see him in another meaningful fight. I hope I'm wrong but I get the feeling that he's done and will only agree to fight one of the top guys for unrealistic money/terms/demands.
