What is noticeable with this segment of the sport's fanbase is their penchant for playing the victim card, ie, their heroes Rigo and Haney got bad deals.

Their uncle Al Haymon didn't even give a F about Rigo and Haney. They were free agents for years and uncle Al won't sign them. Won't even give them one fight deals.

Santa Cruz kept calling out Rigo, but when Oscar tried to make the fight, uncle Al bought LSC's remaining contract with GBP just to prevent the Rigo/LSC from happening.

Haney expressed utmost gratitude to Eddie Hearn because he was the only one interested in signing him. Where was uncle Al?

Bobfather didn't even have to make the Rigo/Loma fight because Rigo was no longer with TR many years ago. Where was uncle Al back then? Why won' he sign him and give him fights?

Oh yes he did fight at that weight. It was just a non-title fight. Why is that so hard to believe? He weighed 125 pounds for Lante Addy and he came in about that weight for a couple other guys. These were non-title fights, so making the super bantamweight wasn't necessary.

Yes, Rigo was one of the smaller guys at the weight class. That's true. But let me put it to you this way: Lomachenko is just as big as Nonito Donaire, except Nonito has more reach. And Rigo put it on Nonito. It was a clinic. So if he could do that to Nonito, there was no reason to believe that he couldn't do that to Loma, who's the same size but shorter reach. Loma had the weight advantage at that time, but I think it was by six pounds or something.

There were tons of people saying Rigo was going to break Loma's jaw. Then afterward, they said Loma was too big and a weight bully. But the funny thing about that was that Loma never wanted to fight Rigo. Rigo wanted to fight Loma and pushed for it for TWO YEARS!! So much that all the fans wanted to see the fight.

Relax Queensbury. I'll compromise and say it was a competitive fight. But I remember Rigo countering Nonito all night long. It was a dominant performance by Rigo IMO.
