Since when was $60 considered cheap? It was only a few years ago PPV fights were about $40.

    So what has changed?

What’s worse is streaming services that charge a monthly fee for scant content and then add another pay tier for so-called ‘big fights’.

Arum is claiming he’s doing it for the benefit of boxing which is rubbish-he’s admitted he’s doing it to compete with and out-do the Garcia v Tank fight.

They can’t have it both ways.

I was prepared to subscribe to DAZN when they arrived on the scene charging just a few dollars a month; then they raised that 4 fold and began charging for PPV events.

Like most commenters on here I might shell out once or twice a year - that’s it.

Boxing needs to decide on an open and final payment method-they’ve no hope of competing with MMA and other sports like football who offer free events on cable or subscription.

Can you imagine having to pay $70 to watch a champions league final?

    Pfft.

      Save Boxing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats fine if the networks want to pay for it and they don't which is why boxing moved to PPV in the first place.

Bob is on the right bus, just instead of $60 a ticket it should be $20.

I think the experiment would work better at 25-30 max.
