Tank Garcia is a big fight both have a big following etc and i still saw people complaining about it being a ppv in the comments. Haney Loma is a fight betwen 2 elite boxers and people still complain about that ppv too. So either whichever fight it is there are always regardless what fight people complaining about ppv.
It’s about supply and demand. Is lomachenko still elite or has Father Time caught up? Cause I watched his fight vs ortiz and I’m leaning towards the latter. Lomachenko ain’t a spring chicken he’s gone a lot of rounds. Garcia/tank is 2 in their prime lions and people want to see it. They are must see fighters. Loma vs haney is haney by decision wake me up when it’s over easy money. Tank garcia is a coin flip fight too. Will be much more competitive. One belongs on PPV one does not

I buy most PPV fights every year, and have been for over a decade.

I don’f particularly like Benavidez or Plant, but I felt the fight was intriguing and will likely be exciting. I also wanted to see how quickly Benavidez could dispatch Plant. Surprisingly Plant survived the entire 12 rounds. It was a great, entertaining night. Plus I got to see Colbert get beat up and win anyway. Good undercard overall.

With that said I pay for PPV’s based on what I think the entertainment value will be like. Not really who I like or don’t like.

Haney just isn’t good entertainment value, unfortunately for Lomachenko, because he is. But Haney has the ability of single handily stinking up the joint with his holding and jabbing. The ref doesn’t address it, it happens for 12 rounds because Haney is an extremely light puncher, and with his opponent being held for 12 rounds there’s not much they can do.

If I don’t think a fight is worth the PPV price, I don’t stream it. Because my gripe isn’t it’s too expensive. It’s mostly just that the fight will probably lack any entertainment at all, and that’s why I watch boxing. Boring fighters like Haney defeat the purpose of watching boxing.

The guy isn’t just a light punching, serial clincher…he barely throws anything other than jabs. And he’s VERY good at that. It’s a great winning formula for him. And it’s a very boring sight.

For me, PPV works with a stacked, must-see undercard.

Only Don King and HBO pulled that off.

Cannot believe Loma is taking up this challenge against a much bigger, aggressive guy like Haney. If he wins, then he is the best pound for pound.

                Lowering the price? Good move.

                Mediocre undercard? Bad move.

Giving us only a 3 fight PPV? Bad move.

They should have thrown at least one other good fight on there, Valdez vs Navarrete for example as someone else already mentioned. Or lower the price some more.

Promoters don’t get it that the fans want value for their money.

Most people think that Haney will hug himself to UD and neither is ppv star so good luck with this

They posted a literal essay about a $10 discount. A Big Mac costs $10 these days. Thanks, Bob. Swell promotion.

Speak that truth! Man I used to legit get excited for ppv. Jesus Murphy boxing after dark cards were better than a lot of what's on ppv now. Boxing fans were spoiled.

Then the promoters figured out we dont matter...and floyd happened...bummer
