I'm hoping Loma wins--just to see Haney Sr. humbled. Many are tired of seeing & hearing that clown. Devin is quiet and reserved but his dad is trying to turn Haney Jr into Haney Sr.

Haney will get beat up a good amount - similar to Lopez. It's hard discussing this stuff with the casuals on here. It's why I barely post anymore. If the referee lets Haney grab and hold all night it'll be close. He'll have around a 15 lb weight advantage during the fight. I'd see Haney winning the first couple rounds before he's forced to do whatever he can to try and stay in control.

At this stage of their careers, I'd have to say Haney has more advantages.

It was very easy to see that Loma has lost a few steps from his fights a few years ago. I have to think Hany wins this easy. Loma starts VERY slow and in years past he was able to pick up the pace enough where he could give away the first 2-3 rounds and win. I cannot see how he wins this.

I also feel that if Haney tries to play the hold throw and clinch game , it will work against him
That would be the only advantage that Loma , being very small compared to him , would have over Haney
Mind you , hoping the ring rust is gone and he needs his A game for him to be able to come at him from different angles and slip away
How long can Loma do this , is another question

MF's had the nerve to tell me he looked fine and healthy at his last weigh in until I posted photos from Haney's first weigh in with George side by side

That I have no doubt. Back when he fought Gamboa, the WBC revealed that on fight night, Haney weighed 157 pounds after rehydrating. So I wonder what it is now?

I mean imagine that, rehydrating 22 pounds in one day. There are a lot of fighters and medical professionals out there that say such drastic rehydration is physically impossible by just drinking water periodically throughout the day. You can rehydrate 10 pounds, maybe 12 pounds if you push it. But rehydrating 22 pounds by just sipping water all day? Not happening. I suspect some other method is being used.

Anyway, if Haney rehydrates to 157 pounds after a massive weight cut, then you know the guy is walking around well above that when he's not fighting.

(Any pro boxers in here who are reading this, please enlighten the forum how a man can put on 22 pounds of water weight in 24 hours because right now the only way that's possible is if a man starts rehydrating several days before the fight and did a pretend weigh-in or he is hooked up to a drip and taking it intravenously.)

When Zurdo was going 175 to 207 over night I assumed he was using an IV to do it. Its an insane amount of fluids in 24 hours

Yeah. Zurdo takes the cake. Nobody is going to convince me that Zurdo regained 32 pounds in one day by taking small sips of water throughout a 24 hour period. lol Technically, it's about a 14 to 16 hour period because he's sleeping for the other hours. I think that's got to be a world record for weight gained in one day by a fighter. It probably won't count, however, because he's cheating.
