How does Haney make 135 and stay healthy?

Wow the size difference here is astronomical. If Loma pulls this off he is the greatest no doubt

I don`t buy triangle theories in boxing.

Lopez beating Loma, Kambosos beating Lopez, Haney beating Kambosos, doesn`t mean Haney beats Loma.

Undoubtedly true, but still. Damn. That's a big size difference. Reminds me a bit of Zurdo vs Bivol but then if Dmitry could get the job done....

Unfortunately for Loma, Hanney's exponentially better than Gilbert.

While Haney is definitely bigger, the side by side photo’s perspective exaggerates the disparity because Haney is in the foreground. The face to face looks more accurate. That said, I hope Loma is well rested, injury free and ready to put on the performance of his career if he is to pull this off. The only thing that makes this competitive at this stage in their respective careers is Haney weight draining, while Loma doesn’t struggle at all to make 135.

We're going to see. He looks as if he's lost some of it already. Guy was blown up a couple months ago. We can safely bet that this weight cut will be the worst of his life. That I have no doubt. Back when he fought Gamboa, the WBC revealed that on fight night, Haney weighed 157 pounds after rehydrating. So I wonder what it is now?

I mean imagine that, rehydrating 22 pounds in one day. There are a lot of fighters and medical professionals out there that say such drastic rehydration is physically impossible by just drinking water periodically throughout the day. You can rehydrate 10 pounds, maybe 12 pounds if you push it. But rehydrating 22 pounds by just sipping water all day? Not happening. I suspect some other method is being used.

Anyway, if Haney rehydrates to 157 pounds after a massive weight cut, then you know the guy is walking around well above that when he's not fighting.

(Any pro boxers in here who are reading this, please enlighten the forum how a man can put on 22 pounds of water weight in 24 hours because right now the only way that's possible is if a man starts rehydrating several days before the fight and did a pretend weigh-in or he is hooked up to a drip and taking it intravenously.)

Size difference is huge. Loma needs to do to the body early and often - may work for him.

Haney is just an Email Champ. Easy win for Lomachenko.

                    Or is it?

If Loma wins I'll be shocked. Haney is huge and young. Loma is small and old.
