Be a good fight too, David should be able to get fights easier after Plant, he didn't look bad or not dominate he just looked like one of the best guys in the division and they all have a vulnerability somewhere, its better than this invincible notion where they can't get fights, same for Ennis showing some kinks, it's better for boxing.

I agree, I feel the Bivol loss may have woke him up a little, he was getting lost in his own hype which was reflected in the ring walking up like the terminator throwing all his boxing away and focusing purely on power, Canelo has very high-level boxing skills and ring IQ, if he is still really hungry and works on the whole package and not just bombs then he is a real force.

Id like to see Canelo regain his best form because I like to see champions doing great things as they near the end.

If Plant had the boxing IQ to manage his punch output. He would’ve done better.

but he kept pumping those straights in 5-6 shots while catching left hooks in between.

Maybe Bivol could beat him. Rather durable, big boxer with strong fundamentals. He might be able to neutralize Benavidez style with it.

Like a Wright vs Trinidad kind of fight.

What do you think Plant did vs Canelo for 10 rounds? The same thing. At least David shown he was able to put a beat down on Plant until Canelo who did nothing until he caught him.
