This is one of the aspects of modern boxing that annoys me.

Fury might make more for a AJ fight than a Usyk fight. That would be a massive event in England.

But the Usyk fight to me as a diehard fan is the most meaningful fight in the sport right now because it crowns an Undisputed HWT champ.

    Tecnoworld Tecnoworld likes this.

Fury vs Joshua is looking like a poor man’s gervontae vs Ryan a fight everyone wants to see but no real belts on the line (yes fury has one but he should have did it when Joshua had his) and one is looking to be on the downside of their career (Joshua).
Meh...so just make up a belt for the fight if belts are your thing. How do you think the WBA, WBU, IBC, IBU, WAA, WBC, IBF, WBO, IBA belts came into being?

The K-1 belt means nothing, they went out of business.
The PFC belt means nothing, they were bought by the UFC.
The UFC belt means nothing. Their heavyweight champ walked away from it to box, the pay was so low.

Now....the title Tyson Fury owns??? That one dates back 2,732 years and is the oldest, richest and most widely recognized title in sports. Besides all that stuff, Fury is the WBC champion. Lol
