people are saying it was because of Bayliss.

Benavidez landed 3X as many punches on Plant as Canelo did. 3X. Couldn't drop Plant once.

Benavidez is so overrated it isn't even funny

Wasn't him and Dillian also claiming that Whyte was up against Povetkin but the ref still waived it off?

I'm always impressed with their ability to gaslight on things where there are 4k video in existance.

Bivol is more complete boxer in every aspect not to mention has faced better names in his division than benavidez so far, therefore fast Edward is right on this one, personally going up then down i weight not good for canelo, i prefer him facing bena after ryder whoop them asses make a killing doing so then take care of business at 175 where the real challenge is. Benavidez style is perfect match for canelo. Gingerboy kriptonyte is movers with lot of skill not pressure punchers.

Canelo is flat footed AF too.

It always shocks me how many people think he's the Mexican Pernell Whitaker or some ****.

That's incredibly and just absolutely laughably ironic coming from the guy who thinks James Toney was some master boxer who can "cut off the ring and force people to fight" like you laughably said he'd do to a prime AJ or "Dance around the ring against a prime Deontay Wilder to the point he wouldn't land a punch" when in reality James Toney is as flat footed and slow footed as almost any fighter you'll watch.

Your hypocrisy never ends, does it?

Bivol is definitely harder to beat than Benavidez. But David would certainly give Canelo a harder fight than Plant did.

Canelo's experience and skill would be to his advantage. I think Benavidez vs Morrell would be a heck of a fight. I don't know who would win that one.

Even Slow Eddie is on with triangle effects
Thanks Slow Eddie we were all thinking Benavidez would be a bigger threat to Canelo than Bivol

It’s a fact that Benavidez has an easier style than Bivol. Especially for a guy as experienced as Canelo. He doesn’t do anything Canelo hasn’t seen before.
Benavidez is a come forward fighter who is slow footed. Plant didn’t have the power or counter punching ability so when he ran out of gas he was a sitting duck.
Would not be an easy fight with David’s power but he didn’t show he can cut off the ring to put pressure on a more elusive fighter.

Canelo doesn’t have the best gas tank and he tries to conserve enough each round. Take that from him and we have a fight.
