Basically, this weekend I lost my money on two fighters whose mind is not alright. AJ has lost it once and for all, Dogboe didn't even seriously try to win - and he could have, if he did - then had the nerve to complain about losing the decision.

Not to mention my tumble down the Pick Em standings (...upcoming...)

Yep this weekend's fights were low key tricky due to the reasons you mentioned. That's why I wasn't comfortable.

Whatever though. You scored a huge upset not too long ago so take consolation in that and let's move forward.

I would say use the odds to get it down to 3/4 fights - nothing over +600 this week as we're spoilt for choice. Where there's still too many then those that are for belts - solis-inoue is for a vacant 118 belt - not sure about the odds

Well, psychology aside, AJ was supposed to win big and quick by practically everybody (including most experts), and Ramirez didn't look that great against a barely-there Dogboe, if you ask me. The picks were risky, but there was analysis behind them. The intangible factor, as I said, revealed itself to be both AJ and Dogboe's uncertain state of mind.

I know! Not only did AJ hesitate to fully engage with Franklin, he also let him shove him around like he's a chump. I couldn't believe it. And Hunter was begging Dogboe to attack Ramirez from the beginning and BE Issac Dogboe, but he barely did. The mind can be a mighty tool or a mighty detriment.

Whereas I learned about Dogboe's issues too late (his bout with depression after the Navarrete defeats, the hard split with his dad/trainer, to whom he's not on speaking terms anymore). Hunter was right, if Isaac was the same of the Magdaleno fight when he won the title, Ramirez would have not lasted the full course. For the little I have seen, every time Dogboe did connect, Ramirez had a quite worried look on his face, as opposed to his customary bravado.

I had bet on Dogboe for a reason. But the very Dogboe betrayed my trust, thanks to his lack of belief.
