All in all, I feel like a Waterloo is expecting me this weekend, both in terms of betting and this very League... Let's hope in the old "every dog has its day" adage
So it goes, man. I would have hit here. That Mavs pick better hit then.

Basically, this weekend I lost my money on two fighters whose mind is not alright. AJ has lost it once and for all, Dogboe didn't even seriously try to win - and he could have, if he did - then had the nerve to complain about losing the decision.

Not to mention my tumble down the Pick Em standings (...upcoming...)

i don't know if anyone predicted a Joshua decision. I think most fans are slow to realise that things can change quickly in boxing. Joshua the monster has gone forever. I think any kind of bet on Dogboe was a long shot so no complaints please on that score please.

You know a lot about boxing but seem to have a love of risky picks which is to your detriment but probably adds intrigue to your life. On a philosophical note I once had a conversation with a friend who also was habitually late to appointments or at least only just making them. After doing the "and why is that" analysis, drilling down, we concluded it's because in some trivial way it added excitement to our lives - having to do everything faster, artificial stress to arrive to beat the clock and arrive on time. That's why I like to bet small on what I watch - it gives me skin in the game and makes it just that little bit more exciting.

Well, a shìtty weekend overall for yours truly... Lost all my betting wins from last Saturday, and then some, and went from 9th to 13th here.

                Results:

                Joshua DEC wide
                Ramirez DEC wide

I tumbled because of picking the wrong outcome. Betting wise the Mavs never covered the spread either. I am gonna go see which NBA game I will be betting on.

Well, psychology aside, AJ was supposed to win big and quick by practically everybody (including most experts), and Ramirez didn't look that great against a barely-there Dogboe, if you ask me. The picks were risky, but there was analysis behind them. The intangible factor, as I said, revealed itself to be both AJ and Dogboe's uncertain state of mind.
