Cotto and Calderon at 35 and 34. I don't know how they work it out, but I think that's even worse. I reckon 90% of the users on here probably have a better P4P list than Ring and Boxrec though whats yours?
Yeah I didn't say it was perfect, I just like Boxrec's better than Ring's even though both have problems. I would say 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Floyd Mayweather 3. Wladimir Klitschko 4. Bernard Hopkins 5. Shane Mosely 6. Juan Manuel Marquez 7. Vitali Klitschko 8. Chad Dawson 9. Miguel Cotto 10. Chris John

I base it off of perceived skill, level of comp fought and beat, and activity too, to some extent.

If you are using activity as a factor then hopkins should be eliminated cuz that dude isnt fighting till 2010 after fighting nov 2008 and level of comp then im sorry dude no heavyweight qualifies. the rest are pretty arguable. i think you gotta get pwill somewhere there.

Honestly the Klitschko brothers is arguable but the level in competition in heavyweight is weak. For me its: #1 Manny Pacquiao, #2 Floyd Mayweather Jr. #3 Juan Manuel Marquez #4 Shane Mosley #5 Miguel Cotto #6 Paul Williams #7 Kelly Pavlik #8 Ivan Calderon #9 Chris John #10 Nonito Donaire. If hopkins woulda been more active I would have had him at 3.

Leaving the K-bros off is understandable if you want to strongly emphasize level of comp, I just think they are too dominant to ignore in the p4p scene. Hopkins I had to bump down due to inactivity but couldn't personally take him out because he would still be heavily favored to beat any LHW in the world.....but I use perceived skill and ability as the strongest criteria, and take mental points away for inactivity......Not too bad a list don't know about Calderon though having his last 3 end on TD due to cuts, but to each his own.

Pongsaklek Wongjongkam at number 9 p4p destroys all credibility that boxrec lists has.

Yea i think you can maybe scratch off nonito because of his performance against concepcion and take off calderon because of the cuts and add one of the Klitschkos if not both and even add chad dawson somewhere there. IF the best would actually fight the best P4P woulda been soo much easier to determine. I mean in UFC its almost undebatable who is on the p4p top 5.
