Hearn has basically hinted that's next

Liam Smith has heard nothing from Eubanks team since they activated the rematch clause, which I presume will now be void because he is taking this fight

Its still the biggest fight for both and Benn can't fight in the UK

So there's probably truth to it

Is the money there for that? I don't know that it does particularly well on PPV. Smith-GGG? Massive long shot but I think that's the only fight out there that really sells. Obviously Smith-Brook would do decent gate but

This is a bit disappointing if this speculation is true.

Especially regarding Eubank Junior's side of things 'And I don't think the fight is anywhere near as big as before'.

Eubank Junior in all honesty needed to rematch Liam Smith 'I think that is a better fight and event'.

That would of been a solid win on Eubank Junior's resume, and a great feat of achievement avenging a loss.

Other people may think differently, but I was personally wanting Eubank Junior vs Liam Smith II to happen.

If this new fight between Benn & Eubank Junior is steeped in catch weights and re-hydration clauses 'It just devalues the event'.

The fight should be at 160 pounds, without any re-hydration clauses 'Even without these mandates, there were better fights out there to make for Eubank Junior'.

How predictable. Benn saw how drained and weak Eubank jr. looked in his last fight, so he will drain him even a little more. I guess it will be at 155, lol.

I really didn't want to see it the first time, now that Benn tested positive and Eubank lost his last fight i definitely don't want to see it
