    MGM Grand, Las Vegas - A battle of rising young contenders saw Chris "Primetime" Colbert (17-1, 6 KOs) edged out Jose Valenzuela (12-2, 8 KOs) on the scorecards after 10 rounds of lightweight action. All three judges saw the fight 95-94 in favor of Colbert.

    I had Valenzuela winning a close UD. He brought this on himself by allowing a hurt Colbert to come forward and get in clean shots after being knocked down, thumbed and anything thing else. Colbert got in a lot of clean connects. Valenzuelas face showed it. Again I had is close the other way but I see why the results were what they are

        Dude is overrated. It doesn't matter how much the PBC protects this joker, he won't get too far. They'll have to give up on investing on Colbert once he starts getting knocked out ....as this is bound to happen. He's not good.

              He gives me the feeling he's another one broken by social media. Hope I'm not watching another slow Mo car crash.

                  I agree too, I thougth valenzuela won, but that it was pretty close. the judges didnt "rob" him, they had colbert up by a single round. a lot of the rounds were hard to score with both having moments.

                  valenzuela allowed colbert to come back from that knockdown and take control the second half of the fight... he let it get that close, i dont want to hear him cry robbery.
