Sweet Cheeks and stamina don't go hand in hand. Uzcategui - Canelo - Ramirez 2.0 (Wait till they put this one in the ring with a real one.)
Benavidez and his chance of fighting Canelo

Canelo and his team know Davis is their toughest mathcup.
The size diffeence is huge. Canelo is 5'7 and David 6'2. David has a great jab and right hand and can fight at distance.
Canelo bad stamina vs David comes on strong all fight with high volume.
Stylistically David is all wrong for Canelo.Comment

i dont see it happening, wouldnt shock me to see canelo retire either this year or next as theres nowhere to go, at 175 he is easy pickings, bivol already made him look like a bum and beterbiev would just walk through him and take him out in a few rounds. and at 168 he wont fight benavidez cause he doesnt want to lose to a mexican, which he would. maybe he will fight GGG for a 4th time at some point thats about all that is leftLast edited by Madison Boxing; 03-26-2023, 09:10 AM.Comment

They're gonna make Canelo v Berlanga for some reason, Hearn already mentioned that one.
Munguia is still always an option too
plus they can pass some mandatory defences off as real fights like they're doing with Yidirim or Ryder. So he has plenty of ways to avoid a Bivol rematch.Last edited by deathofaclown; 03-26-2023, 10:35 AM.Comment

Other than Munguia I can’t see Canelo making any of those fights without taking a pay cut.

He also took a pay cut to fight Ryder. If Canelo wants to maximize his earnings he’s going to have to fight Benavidez. Benavidez is going to outgrow 168 in a year so I can easily see Canelo making Benavidez shrink down for a massive payday.Comment
