Canelo fans are really gonna go with the "Canelo is better because he stopped Plant" thing?

A ''bad'' night at the office vs Bivol could have happened to anyone.

Nelo's resume is not filled with easy W's like most guys.
Benny FINALLY beat someone worth mentioning.
      A tougher run that Canelo?

Currently it’s Inoue who beat the best at multiple divisions and now wants the best in yet another division

In the past 5 years easily Manny, Floyd and Ward

          1. Benavidez had two disadvantages unlike Canelo, being that Bayless was in Plant's side:

-Whenever Plant clinched it disrupted David's rhythm which is a smart strategy, but it was overly used prompting a point or two deductions.
-He was also able to recover every time he got hurt as the ref stepped in. It also let Plant able to reset the pace.

The ring size was also an advantage in Plant but I think Canelo also fought in a similar ring against Caleb.

          2. While I think that Canelo is still overall more skilled, styles make fights, and in this case, I think that David still possess a threat to Alvarez as he has the edge in overall reach and offensive output like Bivol had, which could nullify Canelo's defense if he manages to land combinations.

His footwork is nowhere as good Dmitry, but he can make up for it with his power and volume punching against Canelo at least. Just want to see the fight happen whether David wins or not, if he loses then at least it is against a good champion and same with vice versa.

            A spent Donaire 2x
His moves have been minor, so far and compared to Nelo's
            Who else ?

98% of Pac's WW ''career'' is trash

Ward didn't have any size disadvantages Nelo has.
Ward is at least 3 inches taller.

SO, if I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt...Only ONE PRESENT DAY fighter had a tougher time !

If Inoue retires right now name one fighter besides a old Nonito(who was already was beat multiple of times) whos a hofer or atg in his prime? Beating the best in weak divisions doesn't mean anything. His legacy would have been hof, atg worthy if he didn't skip 115.

Ward? Lol. He quit boxing to duck Bivol and Beterbiev.

Inoue has fought nothing but Asian nobodies. "Injured" himself to avoid Fulton

Gayweather avoided everyone. Never fought a prime P4P champ and avoided a prime Pacquiao.

Sure plant was holding but David over came it and was still landing regardless. Not a good excuse why he couldn't put him away. Especially when plant almost looked done from 8-12.

For the Canelo fight, Plant was just running, dodging and not engaging..short ass Canelo chased him down, cut off the ring and got the job done. No excuses.
