Will Canelo take the fight?

Canelo has a gas tank similar to Plant, a good 6-8 rounds before he starts to coast.....how would the King of Mexicans deal with the Mexican Monster?

Nah, Canelo doesn’t have great stamina but it is a lot better than Plant’s. Also he is likely to put some hurt on Benevidez with body shots, which might even things up a little in the later rounds.

I think Benavidez beating Plant was good for the division really.

Its pretty much the only fight anybody needs to see at 168 now. Nobody will be satisfied with any other fight for Canelo at 168.

I don't think Canelo truly fancies the Bivol rematch either. He has to say he does but he doesn't. Luckily for him, nobody is demanding it either, so he will long it out until nobody cares. So I think that almost forces the Benavidez fight to be the one he is expected to take.

It'll be a brutal beating. Cleneloterol doesn't move well and those little slips he does will get nulled by Benavidez' angles. He changed his angles tonight aganist Plant and adjusted very very well.
