    Bumavidez's "power" was vastly overrated

That bum Plant was gassed the last 5 rounds and Bumavidez bounced probably 100 clean shots off his nogging and couldnt even drop him. We know Plant's jaw isnt spectacular because he was knocked out by former welterweight Canelo.

They made Bumavidez out to be this killer, he has less power than former welterweight Canelo

Now we know why Bumavidez avoided 175 like the plague. Can you imagine his no defense having ass trying to walk down Beterbiev? He would be knocked into another dimension.

I was EXTREMELY high on Benavidez and I have to admit...you're 100% right. If Benavidez is what he's supposed to be, this fight had no business going the distance. I'm not even going to use Kenny Bayless as an excuse either. I thought Benavidez was the next big thing. This was supposed to be his coming out party. That fight where we go from thinking he is to knowing he is. He's lucky Canelo's past his prime. Canelo of three years ago knocks him out.

He gets stoppages with constant pressure and thudding clubs off your head round after round. He doesnt have one shot, lights out power at the highest level.

          Bayless saved him

No holding, no time outs, no holding the arm out without using it = Plant down for the count

Plant should give half his purse to Bayless

I still want to see Canelo - Benavidez.

Obviously the best fight for Canelo at 168.

But Beterbiev kills him, if Benavidez fights like this.

He has a lot of power, he just missed a lot, couldn’t get his punches off, was being reset a lot by Plant, and of course Plants movement had a lot to do with all that.

If Plant was a sitting duck like Lemiuex, he would have gotten stopped.

Hes sloppy and smothers himself. Plant was out on his feet for multiple rounds. The commentators kept saying why isnt plant moving anymore why is he walking right into benavidez.... um first of all he is exhausted and his legs are jello, second when he does that benavidez doesnt have the boxing IQ to back up and give himself space and take some patience to time a big shot.

Canelo stopped plant because hes more patient and he put together a combination, he didnt smother himself.

If Plant is forced to stop holding in the 2nd or have a point taken and force to use the jab or put the arm down, David takes him out NLT the 7th round or so

Oh, let's not forget the timeout.

David is in the middle of punching Plant and Kenny Bayless puts his hand on both guy's shoulders and tells them to break LMAO

Bottom line is Plant was saved countless times tonight

He has thudding, beat down power; doesn't seem to have that concussive, "put you to sleep" power

He's basically a Cotto-type puncher at 168. Might bruise a top guy up or break a bone, but probably won't be able to knock the top level fighters out
