Ye i expected a lot more David was way too hesitant. Disappointed.
Bumavidez's "power" was vastly overrated

Well, I will agree that Beterbiev would destroy Benevidez because he's got way better footwork, is a smarter fighter and is a more concussive puncher. David Benevidez is huge at supermiddleweight though, and he's got a very good gas tank. He doesn't have great footwork but his pressure would be a big challenge for any super middleweight. I don't think he'd do well against Bivol ore Beterbiev..., especially Beterbiev. BUT, maybe if he waits and lets Beterbiev get old enough he might have a better shot at winning.Comment

You're on your way to something, I can see your desire to improve. Keep hitting the books and learn all the troll techniques you can get your grubby little hands on. Show 'em what you're made of kid. That bum Plant was gassed the last 5 rounds and Bumavidez bounced probably 100 clean shots off his nogging and couldnt even drop him. We know Plant's jaw isnt spectacular because he was knocked out by former welterweight Canelo.
They made Bumavidez out to be this killer, he has less power than former welterweight CaneloComment

Right, all of that is true. But he does have a lot power. He just needs his opponent to have zero movement.
Hes sloppy and smothers himself. Plant was out on his feet for multiple rounds. The commentators kept saying why isnt plant moving anymore why is he walking right into benavidez.... um first of all he is exhausted and his legs are jello, second when he does that benavidez doesnt have the boxing IQ to back up and give himself space and take some patience to time a big shot.
Canelo stopped plant because hes more patient and he put together a combination, he didnt smother himself.
Canelo and Bivol both school him right now. Wouldn’t even be close. Canelo’s upper body movement would have Benavidez missing worse than this. And Bivol is a whole other story, he would pick Benavidez apart so badly. It would look worse than Zurdo.Comment

Blaming Kenny Useless as if he was taking the punches for Plant

That wasn’t even worse than Haney vs Linares. Or Haney vs anybody. And Haney never gets warned for his holding.
It’s really Benavidez fault that he can’t create space between him and his opponent. When Plant was hurt vs Canelo, he tried the same exact thing. Canelo created space and closed the show.Comment

The sad part is that Benevidez did adjust and landed plenty durring the holding attempts. I think Pant's holding became ineffective pretty quickly actually. Overall, a very bad plan on plant's team to excessively rely on that, but some people on here be forcing excuses on why Benevidez couldn't put plant away..
