            Cmon, Boxing today is crap!
This is from someone who's followed it since the early 80 s
There are no superstars, no charisma, nothing.

It's not even the lack of stars, it's also the lack of free boxing. The general main****** cannot catch a fighter that they may have attached to from catching a live fight on a Tuesday/Friday night ESPN. You literally have to pay your way to find them and if in your mind they do not exist, why would you pay? Boxing has not been friendly to the casuals lately.

When you think about, the only free boxing these days are preliminary bouts on Youtube leading up to a PPV. It's pretty damn sad.

These days, I don't even dare bring up boxing to anyone I work with. Not 1 soul speaks of it and the occasional time I mentioned it, if they were older folks, it's the typical, yeah, I used to watch boxing when Tyson was around and heavyweights were exciting. If it's a younger person, it's like, yeah I watch (name a popular UFC fighter), but that's it.

First few rounds, plant looked like he was punching in fast forward. From the on, he was hugging that man tight like his long lost daddy. How do you show your face after that much hugging? At least go out like a G. Not fun to watch overall.

the fact that youtubers like the paul brothers were able to be such big hits and actually command ppv just shows how badly boxing has failed their fanbase in creating main****** stars.

i will say benavidez style gives him a great chance of being a main****** star.

hope he becomes one and canelo has to fight him.

floyd's entire career is based on excessive spoiling tactics.

he has no shame in his game and the sport rewarded him handsomely for it.

Facts. Its not like turning on cable and catching HBO or ESPN fights like decades ago.
