Castillo 1 is somewhat plausible, the rest he clearly won.

he would've lost if he didn't have home court advantage. If Floyd lost against Castillo in Mexico or Maidana in Argentina, nobody would even bat an eye. if he lost the Pac fight, it wouldn't even be the top 50 worst decisions in boxing history. that's why home court advantage matters so much.

if you follow UFC Petr Yan got robbed twice in a row. nobody cares about him anymore because he's not American.

The way he fights is almost guaranteed that he’ll have a long career and if you add to the fact that 175 isn’t really that competitive besides Beterbiev as a rival who else is left? Maybe if Benavidez goes up a division but even then I don’t see him giving Bivol any issues

That is the very recipe of a long career.

Floyd clearly beat Cotto, Pacquiao and Maidana, he didn’t need any judges help in those fights.

Castillo 1 was close but I thought he edged it. I even done an RBR thread during covid on here when we were watching old fights.

I think so. I think Bivol will be Champion for years. I want to see Bivol vs Benavidez.

His style is heavily reliant on nimble pendulum stepping footwork. Once his legs go he'll call it a day imo

Bivol is such a great fighter, that they couldn`t rob him against Canelo.

But he is Russian, competing in pro boxing, which is American -English sport, pretty much.

Speed is his main advantage. When he slows down, he will start losing matches and wall into obscurity. He has no fan base. Casuals don`t care about him.

Floyd swept the first 5 rounds which makes it hard to score it for Castillo

Castillo would have needed 6 rounds from 6 to 12 to win

                  fight messy to score

merchant was right when he said that ref was too disruptive

He deducted points from both guys

think I had it 114-112 Floyd

I had Floyd edging it too. Pretty sure the HBO guys scored it to Castillo though.

all fighters today are fighting once and twice per year. Everyone will be able to fight into their 40s.
