Is this a foregone conclusion in Benvidez's favor? What are Plant's chances?

I think it's in Benavidez favor but if Plant wins it wouldn't shock most, this is truly a 50-50 fight David looked a bit drained but he should be massive in there tonight. Plant is always in good shape and he's coming in active he's not going to stand in front of David the entire time either he's going to use his footwork and try to counter David when he rushes in with his combos.

I don't think Plant is a huge puncher but he's precise and his technique is good, if he lands a clean shot on anyone who leaves their hands down I'm sure he could stun them including David and now with Breadman he's been sitting on the punches a little more. I think David has been in there with bigger punchers though (Angulo, Lemieux, Medina) and was never seriously hurt aside from that flash against Gavril who he completely dominated in the rematch although none of those guys are as skilled boxing wise as Caleb. In my opinion it's going to come down to conditioning if David isn't too messed up from the weight cut his stamina has always been pretty solid, he usually throws combos into the late rounds and maintains his pressure, so I'm going with Benavidez TKO by rd 10 but we shall see should be a good fight one of the best this year so far.

You're prediction would have been spot on had Bayless not robbed Benavidez of the stoppage in the 10th.

Lol yeah but that's how it goes, I almost bet on that round too glad I didn't. I still respect Plant though he was dealing with a beast so holding was his only way of surviving, still I feel David had the right plan to continue hitting in the clinch and he stunned Plant with a few of those short shots.

Damn man, Mexican are some uncaring creatures.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) — After migrants in northern Mexico placed mattresses against the bars of their detention cell and set them on fire, guards quickly walked away and made no apparent attempt to release the men before smoke filled the room and killed 38 men, surveillance video showed Tuesday.
