The potential increase in reputation and earning power that comes with beating Canelo....FAR outweighs beating the likes of Jermall, Andrade or Morrell. There may be other options, but Canelo is THE option to take when it's available.

So if Benavidez Sr. was Reynoso he wouldn't let Canelo fight Benavidez Jr.? Well then what does that say about Benavidez Sr's. mind set?
It show's that there is a great lack of confidence in this boxing trainer's thought's, and if that's the case then why are you anyone's boxing trainer?
It appear's more of a ploy to try to punk Canelo into taking the fight against his son, a tactic that he doesn't need to employ.
Because if Benavidez Jr, defeat's Plant on March 25, 2023, the fans will be clamoring for this fight to happen, and Canelo wouldn't be able to avoid fighting him much longer.
