These fights are close because the competition is elite.
At this level, it's hard to call close fights robberies.
Katie has yet to take a thorough beatdown from anyone.
I've never stated that every fight she's in is a robbery, but Persoon was one of the clearest robberies that I have seen in women's boxing, and while Katie fought hard, Serrano did the most damage, won the most rounds, and almost knocked her out. With the amount of favoritism Taylor was shown in those 2 fights, its hard to imagine Cameron will receive a fair decision in Ireland, where Taylor is a hero.

Totally disagree, Serrano did the most damage, landed the cleaner shots, was the clear aggressor, and won the most rounds, that and the Persoon, especially the Persoon fight, were robberies.

Serrano I disagree, I think she did enough and outclassed her in the second half of the fight and won. There is no version of reality where she "clearly lost" that one. Serrano just plodded forward eating punches and applying ineffectual pressure. I believe I remember thinking Taylor won by 1 round or potentially a draw, I definitely didn't think she lost. Either way, Serrano was outclassed over the course of the fight and I have no doubt that Taylor will win more convincingly if they rematch.
Serrano almost stopped Katie in the fifth, and should have. Over the course of the fight, Serrano did the more impressive work and deserves no less than a draw.

We agree about the first Persoon fight. Which specific rounds did you believe Serrano won against Taylor? I can agree that Serrano did more damage overall, but I cannot imagine how any seasoned fan genuinely believes she won more rounds than Katie.

I would have to rewatch, but I just remember thinking in the 10th round that Serrano had already won unless she got knocked down. I will watch it again, and respond with rounds.

This is such an eagerly anticipated and compelling fight IMO. I feel that Cameron has a fantastic chance here and I really admire Taylor for taking such a monumental risk with this fight. The most hurt I have seen Katie after taking damage in an exchange was against Amanda Serrano, and the most beaten up and spent at the final bell was the first Delfine Persoon fight, who was immensely rugged, rough and strong. I don't think Chantelle hits quite as crisply as Amanda, nor is she as physical and fit as Delfine, but she lies somewhere in between, and is exceptionally tough with excellent boxing skills, and that is a very complete combination.

Katie is by far the best female fighter I’ve seen since Anne Wolfe. I’d only put her behind Wolfe and Rijker on the all time list. Bunch of clowns who don’t know the first thing about the sport on here I see.
