Comments Thread For: Hearn Believes Beterbiev Has '*****s in the Armor,' Says Callum Smith Knocks Him Out with Left Hook

Eddie Hearn thinks Artur Beterbiev will be particularly susceptible to Callum Smith's sneaky strong left hook. Beterbiev, the IBF, WBC, WBO light heavyweight champion from Russia, is regarded as one of the most fearsome fighters in the sport, as evidenced by the fact that he has knocked out every one of his 19 career opponents.

Beterbiev's age and miles on the clock will always be a factor (hundreds of amateur fights and tendency to get injured); so it's very possible, the timing could be perfect for Smith who's now filled out at the weight and seems to hit harder.

Beterbiev does have *****s in the armor. But Callum ain't got enough dog in him to expose the *****s.

He'll fight competitive for about 5 rounds with Beterbiev before he folds up and goes into survival mode

Every fighter has his strengths and weaknesses I can bet 100% for Beterbiev all day long. Arthur is world class level fighter and a legend in the sport while Smith is a very good domestic name with a good record and he's faced some decent opposition. Agree that age or injuries might be the factor but highly unlikely Arthur loses.

OMG-The Smith hook! Of course! It’s so obvious now! Has Beterbiev ever tasted anything as ferocious as the Smith left hook???

Yearde hit Biev with a few shots that were alot harder than anything Callum Smith has. Biev blinked and made Yearde pay.

I get Hearn is promoting, but he sounds like a used car salesman.

Remember when he put Canelo to sleep with that famous hook? Me neither

Just as Ryder gets destroyed by Canelo , Smith gets the same treatment from Betterbiev ....typical when Hearn is involved ...pointless fights !
A Smith v Ryder rematch would be more fitting for that pair! The fight that deserved a rematch didn't get one Eddie!

Smith v Beterbiev is a great fight.

Other than Bivol/Canelo, this is the best fight left imo.

It's unlikely Smith wins, but there's very few better fights out there. He hits hard, he punches clean, great technique. Beterbiev does get hit. I wouldn't bet on Smith, but you never know.

Smith was too scared to throw the left hook against a ginger Mexican midget

Now he’s going to KO a chechen bear

                    Cool story bro
