I saw Tim throw the kitchen sink at Tony. Wide punches, no fear of anything coming back, steam roller in the outback. Tony got an ad hoc rating for this fight, kod 3 times. I blame Charlo for letting him in the conversation. C+ on his best day.

He is basic. He’s just very good at fighting that way

Many great boxers are basic in tech. Look at Chris John, extremely basic 1-2 fighter. Dominant wins over Gainer, JMM, Rocky Juarez, great fighter but basic. Nothing wrong with being basic.
I agree. My choice of words was poor. Tony is basic in the sense that to the naked eye, he does nothing that wows you like a Loma (to take an extreme example). Nothing jumps out of the screen but yes Tony is/was a very good boxer with a suspect gas tank and prone to mental lapses if we are completely honest.

if you have 90%KO. you are no longer basic by that metric alone.

That's not true at all, look at Deontay Wilder.

EXTREMELY basic, but one of the hardest hitters we've ever seen.

Tony's right, he is basic, but that's not always a bad thing

Tony himself is just probably past it.

He's probably more in demand as a trainer than as a fighter at this point. He's had a good enough career, was briefly champion, and has done a good job with Baumgardner as her trainer.

I agree with his brother that he should probably hang it up.

                    Basic > whatever Tony has.

Tony is right he is basic but he's effective with it he's strong he has power etc an he wears the opponents down an harrision has never had the best tank especially if he has to fight at a pace that isn't his own
