Heavyweight The Ring rankings is a joke

I don`t think Ortiz and Whyte still belong there.

To be honest, I think Jared Anderson already beats both.

And there are probably many other guys much more dangerous than faded Ortiz.

Agreed, but the problem is that none of these guys fight enough to separate themselves from the pack.

We need Anderson to be fighting ex-champs & top contenders at this point

      1. Fury
      2. Wilder
      3. Joshua
      4. Joyce
      5. Ruiz
      6. Whyte
      7. Ortiz
      8. Parker
      9. Hrgovic
      10. Sanchez

Who has Jared Anderson defeated to give him such a high ranking?

You're the guy who keeps saying these HWs need to fight each other and prove themselves, yet you want to give a high ranking to a guy who's best win is Jerry Forrest

Joshua and Usyk fought for their title as 1 v 2 (in Fury's absence). Usyk won and is champion... but why would Joshua drop below Wilder?

Regardless of how you might rate those two personally, it's odd?

As for the fighters on the list, as others have said, no-one is coming past them. If Ortiz shouldn't be there then it's pretty easy to go past him in the rankings - fight him and beat him.

Yes, I think Ring puts people with resumes up there which I think is fair. But if you don't give the prospects a chance to fight them they cant get required wins.
So it's a difficult one. Jared would best white and Ortiz so give him chance. I've no issue with Jared being ranked a little lower

Top 4 is easy to rank:
              1. Usyk or Fury however you like it
              2. Joshua
              3. Wilder
              4. Joyce
After those it's harder: Whyte, Ruiz, Ortiz has looked bad in their last fights and Hrgovic and Sanchez hasn't fought anyone. Parker... well he's Parker. But then again who else could even be there?

If jared Anderson and whyte were to fight and Jared was betting favourite then Jared could be ranked higher id not have problem with that though ordinarily I think man with better resume should b e ranked higher. But being ranked higher don't mean you are rated higher.
So I guess I disagree with thread starter. Ranking higher don't mean rated higher

Parker could conceivably fight and lose to the entire top 10 and still be ranked there.

There are absolutely guys who should be in there. Wallin is kind of an obvious one but he continues to fail to fight the guys with resumes.

No-one is fighting anyone who moves them up the rankings.

I don't know whether everyone is waiting to see what happens next. Usyk, Fury, Wilder and Joshua are in or have been in flux. Joyce is obviously looking up rather than down the list. Maybe Ruiz too.

The rest are there to have fights made.

Heavyweight ranking are based on actual wins based in reality, not fictional matchups in your head.
