Vitali's chin is far harder to hit cleanly than you think. He leans back away from the punches that are thrown at him, and uses his reach and height advantages to counter while still leaning back, and the person throwing the punch not only misses but gets hurt. He is a master at staying out of range while still being able to get his own punches off, and he's one of the best fighters in the sport at punching hard while moving back, if not the best. He also has an uncanny ability to judge distance and space - his ring generalship is second to none.

And Arreola does have decent speed and decent skills, despite his flab. You're hugely underrating him.

I totally agree - couldn't have said it better.

What surprised me this time, however, was Klitschko's handspeed. He has clearly worked hard on that. In ten rounds, he threw more than double the amount of punches compared to what Mayweather threw in twelve rounds last week.

And Klitschko wasn't just flailing away, he threw every punch with a purpose and a great deal of precision. If it wasn't for the fact that Klitschko mostly moves economically instead of dancing, I would have had flashbacks of Ali.

It costs him a little bit in punching power, however, although several of the shots, especially in the later rounds, would have flattened lesser men than Arreola hard. They certainly would have flattened soft chinned Haye.

I think everyone knew the fight was over when Arreola crossed himself before coming out for one of the mid-rounds. Not exactly a sign of confidence from a challenger.

im glad he whupped that butterball because he was talkin way too much smack beforehand as if being american would somehow carried him through, his arrogance cost him dearly. that said the klitchkos are the best and people shouldnt be so discriminatory against them, they should be honored to have the heavyweight champs living here it doesnt matter where the guy is from , people should embrace the guy hes living here after all arent they? klitckos speed was impressive and ring smarts. it was like a cat toying with a mouse he made it look easy a good victory for the klitchkos, im happy for those dudes.this is their time a very long dominance indeed.

Arreola had never been in the ring with anyone like Vitali, and it showed. He had no answer for all the punches Vitali was landing other than to keep moving forward and take punches looking for some opening.

No. The Klitschkos don't get the credit they deserve because of some of their fans, not all but some. They are very nationalistic, racist and while they are a majority they behave like they are a minority in the 70's.
I'd be a fan if it wasn't for some of you guys, so called fans...
