And I can't believe anyone would think last night's fight has any relevance to a Vitali v. Haye fight. Haye has more skill and far more speed than Arreola and would land more often and get hit far less. Whether that would be enough remains to be seen.

They all say that but the truth is, when you get hit by the maul-like jab he possesses, your game-plan changes and you end-up making those mistakes like backing up, covering up waiting for the next hit only to realize you can't counter, repeat that until someone stops it. So I now think Haye could only win by being lucky and somehow Vitali's chin fails him. Very unlikely.

I doubt you would see anyone that actually picked Haye to beat Vitali, Please dont mistake Wlad for Vitali. People gave Haye more of a better chance at scoring an upset against Wlad and virtually NO chance against Vitali....Even the Haye nuthuggers....

I think when it comes to the brothers, the only way somebody is giving a chance against any of them, is when people think that Wlads` chin is not iron, like Vitalis` is

Actually i think that Haye has some little more chance against Vitali than Wlad:

Wlad is better on his feet, better ring generalship, faster hands, more KO power (yeh, i really think so!), better stamina.
Vitalis` obvious plus is his chin and durability! I think he uses his size more effectively - i mean he has worse stamina than his brother, but he can be much more relaxed as he moves less and slower, keeps his hands down, which helps him keep force. His "strange" defence les him do so...

The difference between the brothers is that Wladimir doesn`t LET his opponents hit him and dominates them, and Vitali doesn`t CARE if his opponents hit him, so he dominates them...

P.S. there was a moment in the fight against Chris, when Vitali threw aleft hook to the body, and Chris countered it with left to the jaw... That was a monstrous hit, which (should that happen) would send Wladimir down, but Vitali reacted less motionally...

So the Hayes` chanses are using his speed to jumping in with a one or one-two and jump away...

I would rate his chanses like 20% against Wlad, and 30 (+5% for injury probability ) against Vitali.

                This was no surprprise...

Arreola is a tough guy and he'll go on and do well for hemself. Should he stick around long enough, he'll become a champion. There are so many heavyweight belts out there an none of the smaller guys can stop him. He's a very determined fighter with good enough skill. His grit makes him quite formidable.
I don't know how much longer Vitili is going to give to the sport of boxing so someone else can have a chance but we all have to admit, this guy is good. He pretty much did to Arreola what Floyd did to Marquez. They were both shut out fights.
Looking at their styles prior to this bout the results were no surprise to me. The only think that surprised me a little was that the fight went ten rounds. I thought it would have ended a little earlier but... who am I to say when a fight should end. Good job guys. This is what the heavyweight division was missing for so long.
Don't worry Arreola. If you keep your wits about you and keep improving, you'll definitely be champion. You have all the makings of a champion.

Hopefully Haye watched that fight..... I don't think he understands whats he's up against.

It was a very boring/messy/ugly fight but everyone knew the outcome before it started.

I miss the Tyson/Holyfield/Bowe days. At least there was excitement. I was more excited from the hype than the fight itself.

Cong**** to Klitschko, perfect performance on his part. Never even had to go to plan B.

One thing you can say about Chris , that he is game ! Just because his corner stopped the fight doesn't mean Chris QUIT !

                      Sad Heavyweight division

Arreaola has heart and determination. But he is fat and sloppy and lacks technical skills and so vitali for that matter. vitlai kept his hands low and his chin exposed and arreaola couldnt capitailize. Some one with decent speed and and decent skils could expsed the klitchkos brothers for what they are mediocre champions in a mediocre weight division. Could Haye Be the One?
