And even if the first post by the TS could be considered racist, I kinda have to agree with him. It seems that Mexican boxing prides itself on having the fighters who are able to withstand the most punishment, and that alone is worthy of praise. I disagree completely with this, not only because it is detrimental to their health, but because it shows a lack of respect for the complex schemes of boxing. The sweet science is an intricate sport with multiple strategies, most of which seemed to be ignored by the Mexicans, and actually ATTACKED by them when they see fighters who apply them succesfully.
That whole "take 3 to land 1" mentality, and their frequent use of words like "cojones", "huevos", and "coward" shows that these guys have a truly messed up vision of what constitutes manliness. People are even criticizing Vitali for running! Didn't he just score a KO and made Arreola cry? Oh, but since he didn't brawl, he's a coward? Since when does a lack of intelligence translate to bravery?

The guy was a genius using that method... but now you're "gay" if you don't fight that way even if you get KTFO or humiliated .
pfff....as long as you win and say its for mexico, the ****s just would eat it up and praise you(its only if you really want to be famous that you cant be very defensive.....but no boxer is super famous down here anyway)
You keep coming with that same "rock um,sock um " strategy and get humiliated on the national stage time after time after time.
You keep complaining about other fighters.............running while your fighters keep getting embarrassed.
One of these days you will RESPECT the......."Sweet Science"!
I don't see, or feel that these guys are even embarrassed. The most celebrated fighters in the sport are the guys who get knock outs and the ones who actually fight. And not all Mex fighters use that brawling style. Even our boxers generally like to fight. It's not exactly that hard to imagine why either, I mean these guys want to break ****, lol not play tag. That's why they chose this profession. And some of our fighters brawl, some of em box. It's all about what style fits their body. But yeah, both types love to fight.
But I do agree, the ones that can do both, need to utilize their boxing a lot more. Cause you need to be a special fighter to be able to chase guys for 12 rounds and still break em down. 6 out of 10 guys that try that style, usually end up walking into big shots that leave em laid out.
As for someone like Marquez, he just went up against a lame, who's scared ****less of any real fighters that pose a threat. Again, lol American n*ggas is scared of ass whoopins. Cause you know, if you kids lose, you lose everything. Not only that but Marquez isn't even a brawler. He just got put into a ridiculous situation, in which it played to every one of his opponents advantages, and to everyone of HIS disadvantages.
(Seriously, anyone want to see what Marquez really looks like at his best, just hit up youtube and check out his fights at 126 and 130. The hand speed and elusiveness is there.)
And just look at Mayweathers family, lol these people are ****in morons. So of course they think fightin a guy who doesn't even belong in the ring based on size alone, is a legitimate win. Honestly, lol you clowns could do that **** for entire decade, and I still wouldn't be a believer.
Now with all that, there's absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. You just gotta watch out for the opportunist's in this Sport, and that's all.
As for Arreola, dude tries to fight like Tyson with the bob and weave and get inside tactic. But you can't do that **** when you're too big for you're own good and not explosive...Arreolas just too fat to get his punches off quick enough to give a guy like Vitali the buisness. Arreola could have boxed, but it wouldn't have mattered. He still would have lost. A fighter like Arreola needs to be able to cut air with his punches, that's his only chance, because that's his style. But to his own fault, he doesn't train to his strengths at all.
So ultimately, that "appreciate the Sweet Science bull****," is exactly that. BULL****. Because our fighters do appreciate it, if you knew half the **** you thought you knew you'd know plenty of Mex fighters that have had ridiculous success boxing, and not brawling. But that's what it ultimately comes down to, you're most effective style. If you can do more than one thing, do it. Do it early in your career. Definitely don't limit yourself to one style, mix that **** up.
One of the biggest misconceptions in boxing is that Mexicans are nothing but brawlers. If you believe this you are a ***in IDIOT. plain and simple.
JCC was a master technician as well as Finito Lopez, Salvador Sanchez etc.
You use what you got. Let's say what it really is, Mexicans aren't known for their speed that's what it is.
JMM is a master boxer but he couldn't match Mayweather's speed. There's nothing wrong with being tough and never giving in.
Al you maricones running your mouth about being tough is ****** and **** like that should at least have the decency of putting on a pair of gloves and seeing how easy it is to even spar. It takes a tough mother ***er to get hit and not quit.
Arreola can't match Klitchkos boxing, length and size but he was there until the end and could have finished the fight. THey should have let him do that I thought.

lol I don't know about that. Marquez jumped out the gate blazing dudes with his speed and power. Even JCC was quick as hell and heavy fisted. I mean even Castillo was quick as hell. He got past Floyds defense easily when he had to, it's just when Floyd started using his legs is when Castillo started to have less success.
What seems like the reoccurring problem though, is bringing that speed up in weight. And most of the time, it's because Mex fighters move up too late in their careers. Oscar jumped from lightweight to WW to MW and kept his speed because he did it all while he was young and prime. Marquez made the attempt, but it was wayyyyy too late in his career.
But yeah, lol we're gonna have to put with these ****in fat kids frontin of Mexican boxing for atleast another half year to full year.
lol All these Garbage ass fighters in the sport right now, and we don't got one guy to put himself in a possession to break em. It's a damn shame. But even if we did, we probably couldn't get the fight to be made anyways. lol They only fight our boys when they're old
Some Mexican fighters can box a technical fight. Arreola couldn't. He fought the best he could and got KO'd. No need to **** on him for it.
Even the ones that can, like Barrera, Morales, Marquez and Mijares always get drawn into slugfests, and i think a lot of that is to impress the mexican fans and get into the whole leave it all in the ring notion
the TS is a bit ****** but he does have a bit of a point, most Mexican fighters are overly aggressive and ruin themselves prematurely, and a lot of it is to impress fans

Most of the time, but in his last few fights especially he gets carried away, tries to stay in and land four or five punch combos instead of two or three, leaves himself exposed, neglects to move his head or keep his hands in tight, stays in close and fires back when an opponent rushes instead of pivoting out and moving....things he used to do or can do, but just doesnt

Look at who he fought though. Easier said than done. He fought Casamayor a slick , fast fighter. Diaz, an in your face aggressive fighter and Mayweather, the best pound4pound fighter in the world.
