The fight was originally supposed to happen in Saudi Arabia, which is a neutral venue, and Fury wanted a rematch clause. Fair enough.

The venue was then switched to Wembley, giving Fury home advantage, so now he wants the rematch clause removing. That is dodgy, very, very dodgy. If I was Usyk's manager, I definitely would not agree to that.

I'm disappointed in you, mate. I knew you were a big Fury fan, but I didn't know you were the kind of biased fanboy who would stoop to posing outright lies when it suited you.

Oh well, we live and learn, I guess.

Agrees to all Fury’s terms and asks Fury to honour them.

The 50/50 split was agreed by both sides at the start of the negotiations. Fury then said he wanted it changed to 70/30 in his favour.

              Usyk accepted 70/30.

The rematch clause was originally asked for by Fury. Usyk has said nothing about wanting to keep it.

Fury's team set the date and venue - April 29th, Wembley stadium. Usyk agreed to these terms.

Usyk is not trying to change the date. He has been training for a fight on April 29th and he wants to be sure the fight will happen on the date he agreed to, otherwise, the terms need to be re-negotiated.
Ok, so Fury wants the rematch clause, is he scared that he will lose? (In this sport nothing is certain)

To a world class fighter, the day of the fight is very important for what is done during training, how hard work outs are and such.

Would you like to train for months with the expectation of peeking right on that fight date to only have that fight day changed?

And you called me a liar, well funk you too.

Should I call everybody a liar who simply does not know? If that were true I'd have told many in the Training and Nutrition section that they were liars.

I'll keep up with the happenings within the ring, but this contract negotiation bs is not even worth my time. Idgaf about negotiations.

Either they want to fight and make some money, or they do not.

But you guys need to have something to talk about.

              So do your thing.

                Not lies though

I've already said Fury and his team have moved the goalposts and I've said if the fight doesn't happen, I'll blame Fury mostly.

I just don't like some of the stuff Egis has been coming out with either, it also sounds like he could move the goalposts too.

It does not have to be 100% one way or the other..

I haven't liked the things coming out of the Fury camp in terms of making this fight. I truly believe Usyk wants it. Egis on the other hand sounds like he might not be 100% sure

Let's be realistic, the UK isnt the biggest place they can monetise the fight, the middle east is IF fury can reach a deal with them. As much as Usyk himself might want the fight ASAP, it wouldn't be absurd for his management to have one eye on still trying to get it on in Saudi somehow where they will make a lot more money. Same goes for Fury.

That's why I feel there's so much delay in announcing it or it still may not happen. Fury and both teams behind the scenes might be feeling they're leaving big money on the table if they do it in the UK.

They're all in the business of making money, both teams. You don't think the representative on both sides are not thinking "are we really gonna to rush into this at 6 weeks notice when there's still potentially much bigger money elsewhere" ?

Either that or because Fury has a fight with Ngannou lined up in the middle east for late summer and doesn't want a rematch clause ruining the money he's gonna get for that one.
