Yeah, Holyfield & Toney are the guys I have the hardest time with because they're ATG fighters, but it's obvious they were PED guys, so how do you punish that?

I say don't elect them to the IBHOF on the first ballot to send a message.

I've also said that boxing should keep urine samples for a decade like The Olympics and retest them as new technology comes about & strip fighters of their titles retroactively, if the subsequent tests turn up dirty.
    A build in alibi.

Conor Benn doesn’t even have that.

So you can’t equate the two.

And that's the point, one had a receipt saved for months, it was a restaurant or a butcher shop? It doesn't matter, he have more than enough money to buy a jury in Mexico. The public opinion however, doesn't believe in that bs. Both of them can say whatever they want, the fact of the matter is, they both had illegal substances in their system.

But one has several pieces of evidence in his favor, that back up his excuse. The other does not.

So it’s a false equivalency to equate the two as being the same. They aren’t, one explanation is far more plausible than the other.

Why did he have a non important receipt, for months, kept like new for that particular moment? Call me a cynic, I don't buy it. Do you know most receipts tend to fade too. He's a millionaire, he has nutritionist that knows the Mexican beef is tainted, why did he let him eat that meat? He has money to buy wagyu beef, why eat that? Maybe he did ate the meat because he was using the substance and he knew he didn't have time to cycled the stuff. Hence the visit to the restaurant and the saved receipt. He knew what he was doing, only his fanatics are excusing this bs.

Why does Conor Benn not have any of that, though?

People just can’t admit that the two explanations ARE NOT equally plausible.

You'll have to ask him. Maybe he didn't expect to be caught. In any case they're both cheaters

                  Both failed tests, yes.

But Canelo took a ban for it and has an explanation that is reasonable to believe could have been true. Based on the facts.

Benn has yet to be banned. And his explanation is very hard to swallow.

That's boxing for you. It should be regulate like NBA, MLB, FNL, ETC. Both stories are bs, just like Fury and his wild boar.
