It’s like I’ve been saying, Conor Benn’s explanation isn’t very believable.

Canelo at least provided the places he ate at and we know that clenbuterol in meat is a widespread problem in Mexico. Clomiphene isn’t even allowed in egg production in the UK.

It's very convenient to have receipts for something you ate a few months back. Actually, if you have money, you can buy whatever you want.

Conor Benn doesn’t even have receipts. And clomiphene is not allowed for use in animals in the UK.

I agree with Bread regarding Canelo! You can't legitimately criticize his resume, but him saying he won't fight Benavidez because he's Mexican is ridiculous! That's like Tank saying he won't fight Haney or Shakur because they're African-American! That would be just as ridiculous! MAN UP!

Another good and insightful list of answers from Breadman. No doubt whatsoever, Bruce Lee is the greatest martial artist the world has ever seen, the real deal.

The boxing list, well, not sure if would put Holyfield in top 10 best heavyweights ever. Certainly an all-time great, even with the losses to Bowe in that trilogy. Riddick Bowe, at his best was great as well.

It's hard to imagine that Holyfield would have near the success he had at heavyweight without the ped 's

Exactly, it'd be like me keeping a receipt from McDonalds 3 months ago. It's ridiculous

Yeah, Holyfield & Toney are the guys I have the hardest time with because they're ATG fighters, but it's obvious they were PED guys, so how do you punish that?

I say don't elect them to the IBHOF on the first ballot to send a message.

I've also said that boxing should keep urine samples for a decade like The Olympics and retest them as new technology comes about & strip fighters of their titles retroactively, if the subsequent tests turn up dirty.

Canelo was publicly seen eating steak at Sonora Grill in Mexico with Bill Clinton in the weeks leading up to his negative test. He also named several other restaurants he ate at. That’s not “convenient,” it’s just one of the many pieces of supporting evidence that appear to be in line with Canelo’s explanation of eating tainted meat. Whether one chooses to believe his story or not.

Conor Benn on the other hand has almost no supporting evidence to back up his explanation. Clomiphene is NOT allowed to be used for egg production in the UK like how clenbuterol IS allowed to be used in cattle in Mexico. Some people claim that maybe Benn imported the eggs, but so far Benn hasn’t produced any information on what country and what supplier he imported them from.

So there is a definite difference in the believability of the two situations.

On this I do agree. How can you put fighters that used banned substances on the same pedestal as fighters who achieved greatness while being clean? They shouldn’t be seen as being on the same level. It wouldn’t be right.
